Laila Archuleta is a Cinematographer, Photographer, Producer, and Storyteller deeply rooted in New Mexico. Based in Albuquerque and Los Angeles, she has traveled the world, capturing and exhibiting her works and collaborations. Archuleta has earned an Associate of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish as a Modern Language from the Community College of New Mexico, her Bachelor of Science in Darkroom Photography from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Entertainment Industry Management from the Heinz School of Carnegie Mellon University. Archuleta is supported by the kinship of the International Cinematographers Guild, Local 600. She is motivated by the exploration of lineage and intimacy, believing that we all walk through the world carrying the experiences of our ancestors with us. Believing that she is supported by their experiences, she utilizes storytelling to reach back to them with wisdom and understanding. All stories deserve to be told.
